Passwords

There are several different Passwords used at Lane. If you are unclear which password to use, please contact Enrollment Services.

• myLane Password
• Information Release Password Due to FERPA laws (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act) most information at Enrollment Services and Financial Aid is only available to the student unless a password has been assigned and released. Students can set up a Student Information Release Password in their myLane account. Without this password, only general "directory" information may be released to anyone but the student.
• Financial Aid FSA ID - This is your password you create with the Department of Education for Financial Aid transactions. It serves as your online signature and is used to sign your FAFSA and promissory note. To access the Federal Student Aid ID site registration, please visit the Federal Student Aid website.
