9:00 amWhile campus remains closed to the public, access is now permitted for students in labs required for course completion in auto, diesel, manufacturing, welding, and some health professions programs. Students completing labs for dental programs are permitted access to campus starting June 1.

Lane Community College is in reopening phase 1
- Face coverings required for all employees and students on campus
- CTE courses requiring hands-on instruction may be allowed with monitored social distancing, reduced capacity, face coverings, and enhanced cleaning. Other classes remain remote.
- Instruction and college work that can be done remotely will still be done remotely in this stage
- Students and employees must compete a daily health assessment before coming to campus
- Use of plexiglass or similar physical barriers where appropriate
- Limit use of campus facilities to those required for instruction or job duties
- Facilities work has resumed, when it can be done under safety guidelines
- Campus is closed to the public
Lane Community College is open. Lane continues to carefully monitor the COVID-19 situation and related guidance from the governor and state and county health authorities. This page will be updated as information changes. Learn more about steps you can take to protect yourself from the virus.
COVID-19 symptoms may be flu-like, ranging from mild to serious, and include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Difficulty breathing.
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person. It is thought that symptoms may appear between 2 days and 14 days of exposure to the virus. Stay home when you are sick. If you have symptoms of fever and respiratory illness, call your health provider in advance. Learn more about what to do if you're sick.

The LCC Health Clinic is closed for appointments. If you are a student with medical questions or concerns, you can call (541) 463-5665 during normal business hours to speak with someone.
Travel Restrictions
Through at least September 30, there will be no non-essential travel for college business, including within the state of Oregon. Employees should communicate with their manager for guidance on any travel.
Personal travel is discouraged. View CDC and Department of State advisories, alerts, and guidance.
Event Restrictions
Effective through at least September 30, Lane Community College has canceled all nonessential events on college property. This applies to events at LCC’s Center for Meeting and Learning (CML), and all college and community-related performances, activities, and athletic events occurring on LCC campuses and facilities. Where possible, arrangements should be made to postpone internal campus meetings and/or move to Zoom videoconferencing.
