What can you do next?

Whether you’re looking to start your career as soon as you’ve earned your bachelors degree or you’re planning to continue on to graduate school, your two years at Lane will make sure you’re prepared for whatever comes next. No matter what your plan, our advisors will help you craft a plan to achieve your goals.

Allied and Public Health Interest Areas

Earning a transfer degree from Lane prepares you to complete your four-year degree. Some of the fields our graduates have gone on to include:

  • Health Care Administration
  • Human Physiology
  • Medical Imaging
  • Medical Technology
  • Public Health
  • Ultrasound Technician
  • X-Ray Technician

And more! As a student, you'll work with your advisor to develop a plan to meet your goals.

Personal attention from engaging faculty

Lane offers students the best of both worlds: a wide variety of courses to choose from and small class sizes. At Lane, you’ll never take a class with more than 40 students, and your class will always be taught by an instructor, not a grad student. Our attentive faculty have real world experience, and they bring those experiences to the classroom! Because of our small class sizes, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your instructor on a first name basis.

Get to know the Allied and Public Health faculty and advisors

Faculty and advisors can help you meet your career goals. They can answer any program specific questions you might have, and help you find opportunities outside of the classroom. Advisors will help you schedule your classes and plan for the future. You’ll work with them to create a term by term planner that meets your needs and goals to ensure you complete your degree.

Get real world work experience

When you’ve finished your degree and are looking for a job, employers are going to be interested in more than just your educational credentials. Stand out by gaining real world work experience through Lane’s Cooperative Education department! Through internships with local businesses, you’ll use what you’re learning in class in a professional environment. Many students have even gone on to work where they interned!
