Credit Classes

Lane Community College offers thousands of credit classes each year in 80 different disciplines and program areas. Students can take college transfer courses or classes specific to a particular program such as nursing. Florence Center offers advising and placement testing for new credit students.
Continuing Education Classes
LCC Florence has a vibrant continuing education program, offering a variety of enrichment classes, professional development courses, and an Outward Ventures Program – off campus learning and cultural opportunities. Feel free to stop by the Center for help.
Registration for Continuing Education Classes:
- Visit lanecc.edu/ce and create a profile to get started. (Returning students just sign in using their email address, not L number, and password.)
- Click "Browse Classes", then select "Florence" to search for classes.
- Find your class under the appropriate category, then click "Add to Cart." When you've added all of your chosen classes, click "View Cart" to check out.
Payment at the time of enrollment with a credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard only) is required. Registration for noncredit classes can also be done over the phone by calling 541-997-8444.
Proctored Tests at the Florence Center
Many telecourses and online classes are offered at the Florence Center. Test proctoring hours (during the Winter, Spring and Fall terms) are:
Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
In addition, placement tests are offered at the Florence Center. Students are required to have a student ID number (L number) to test. To schedule a placement test appointment, please call the Florence Center at 541-997-8444. Please bring photo ID to your testing appointment.
