DENALI Literary Arts Magazine is a publication of Lane Community College. We publish annually in Spring term. Denali accepts original submissions from Lane County residents and LCC students at any time.

The Denali encourages artists of all types to submit their works. These can include but are not limited to: paintings, photographs, short stories, poetry, prose, fine art, graphic art, jewelry, ceramics, and clothing. If it can be photographed or emailed, it can be entered!

Submitting Your Work:

Prepare your work for submission

If you have a literary submission (poetry, prose, short story) submissions should not exceed 2,000 words and should be in .doc or .rtf format and no more than 25mb in file size per file. Please submit digital documents only.

If you have an art submission, make sure the piece(s) are saved in digital format, either .png or .tif at approximately 8" x 10" and 300 dpi and no more than 25mb in file size per file. If you are not able to photograph or scan your artwork yourself, contact the Denali office at 541-463-5897, or denali@lanecc.edu to arrange a time to have someone do this for you.

Publication Rights

• The Denali editing staff reserves editorial control of all material submitted and protects all rights. Students will be contacted about any edits the staff chooses to make and the student reserves the right to pull material if they disagree with the editorial changes.
• The Denali Literature and Arts Magazine acquires first North American serial and online publication rights of material selected for publication; authors and artists retain all other rights to the material.
